The main reason I created this account is because of this. The “American Censorship Day.” It is a bill that the American government is trying to pass that will remove all copywrite infringing websites, like YouTube, Vimeo, twitter and any other video websites, plus any websites that link to those websites like, tumblr, Triond, even twitter and any other blogging websites that may be infringing copywrite law. The internet has connected billions of people together and helped change entire countries. The US government is trying to take that away for good.

Some of you reading this may ask yourself, “What is wrong with that? Piracy is a serious issue on the internet. The problem with that is, they won’t stop piracy no matter how hard they try, but they will hurt America’s economy because they will take away thousands upon thousands of jobs in a single day. The US government will have to much power over the people. 

This bill will not only fail in stopping piracy, but it will hurt America’s economy even more than it already is, from this country being in so much debt. If we give the US government to much power they will abuse the power that we the people have given to them. The government will go as far as they can to take power over the people.

So, the question is: How far will they take this? The answer: As far as we’ll let them.
